   Whichever page you want to use the slider on you need to make sure you've chosen the "Slider" template.

   Hi Patrick, I have the slider template assigned to the page and have populated a "Features" category (I'm using the "choose a specific categaory" as per http://forums.developdaly.com/topic/add-customization-to-the-slider) but the slider is not showing anything. Any suggestions?

   BTW: Loving your child themes.

   Never mind Patrick, solved it. Naming conflict between home.php and new home page I created. Changed my home page to "front page" and all is good.
